If you look right at a player that is about to hit you, you turn to face the boards and then get hit into the boards, that's not boarding. That's not even a 2-minute penalty, much less a 5-min major. That's a body check. Body checks are supposed to be legal in hockey.

It's undeniably boarding. Drury does turn though, so I agree with not assessing the major.

It is definitely boarding, but Drury turned last second. Canes fans are crying about "intent to injure" and "should've been 5" are just wrong.
