S1 johnny test hit different man...

I honestly really love the art style of the first season. Also just feels less vapid. I would be lying if the constant whip cracks didn’t have its charm. Also ever since learning they share the same VA I picture Johnny Test as Ratchet when he talks.

The show was originally done by WB, before Cookie Jar took over in season 2, and it was all downhill from there

Most people have no idea how much better quality season 1 was. When they think of Johnny Test they think of season 2 and onwards, which is a shame because it was originally such a charming show.

I still love season 1

Honestly the hand drawn days was really good, but I can’t really say the same for the flash days. It’s fine don’t get me wrong but… the whip cracks…

Look the show changed was jarring but season 1 kept up the energy people wouldn't be so mean.

TLDR Johnny test was originally done at Warner Bros animation with a crew consisting of both Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon alumni. But then the budget was significantly cut for Season 2 and the Whole crew got laid of so production could be moved to Cookie Jar in Canada.

It had the better artstyle and the better theme song
