I think this concept actually makes full meaning when u understand the christian perspective to love and marriage. In that POV, we are not made whole by another person but by Jesus and so Jesus has completed us. Our first love and he guides our love for each other. Our baggages and wounds are healed by our Lord and he strengthens our weaknesses. Withh that strength we are equipped to help each other form a synergetic relationship that becomes useful to his purposes and agenda but also is not dependent on the frailties of humanity but rather on an assured foundation of our Lord.

this actually made me rethink soo much. you don't always have to need love, you should just want it sometimes and then you know you're not choosing from a place of lack or emptiness just wholeness and want ahhaha😂 beautiful piece ❤

As nice as it might sound, it’s very destructive. Any foundation built on it is just disaster from conception.

Be talking nonsense with background music. This gives off “ ion need you man. You’re dispensable at anytime. “.

I need you to know I never looked for you to be my everything. I was already whole before you came. I am not searching for you to heal what others had broken and I don’t need saving. I don’t need you to answer every unanswered questions in my heart. 1/

People struggle to understand the difference between a need and a want… …but regardless, it’s a good script 8/10

You don't choose a partner out of want, you choose out of need. Whatever you want is not as important as what you need. If life with your partner will be brighter and fuller, then that partner is who you need and not who you want.

Love is meant to be needed and not wanted. I get the “I don’t need you to be my everything”, but that doesn’t relegate love to want else, it lacks substance, and thus replaceable.
