I can't believe any of these women have to be asked this stupid question.

This is good. And she’s not alone. Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert have publicly stated that biological males (or people who went through male puberty) should not compete in women’s sports.

@Sac_TERF_Ca Aryna Sabalenka has been speaking out about this since at least December so I’m not really surprised

Unfortunately, she will now be "persona non grata" in the sports world.

how does one test for gender? it is a sex test...gender is a social construct and has nothing to do with the biological makeup of a person

How many trans women are dominating tennis ? What does she mean keeping it fair?

There’s no such thing as a “gender” test. Any possible test is in regard to biological sex. We need to stop talking about “gender”. Gender refers to the socially constructed roles, behaviors, expressions, and identities that a society associates with being a man of woman.

if trans women get into women's tennis its going to get ugly. the entire sport will be tarnished and unwatchable. All the money will evaporate.

Good. I appreciate every active competitor who speaks up for fairness for women. It takes a lot of courage given the intense social pressure.

I don't know who needs to hear this... but gender and sex are the same thing and always have been. You don't get to define something as a "social construct" just because of your feelings. Even Kindergarteners understand it so SHUT UP.

It boggles my mind that some people find this "controversial."

WTA and professional tennis have zero trans players. Put the test in place and let's hope we never have to discuss the dumb cultural issue again.
