Sacred Geometry in dance forms

This is a 2,500 year old ancient dance form 'Bharatanatyam' of Hindus. Everything has a scientific and mathematical basis.

Now I understood why all the Indian Dance Forms are eye pleasing and pleasant to watch

Can you hear tambourine? And how different it sounds from modern western music? Many of these ragas use Music as Magic, applying ratios to compose songs that are harmonious with nature. Because of this holistic thinking, they were able to attune their music to specific times of day, seasons, activities, etc, as ayurveda teaches :)

Sacred🪷 @incredibleindia 🇮🇳 #JaiHind

To perform a perfect dance, you must Follow geometry. Though almost all dancer learn like a moving tactics.

🕉Bhakti - Devotion , learning and teaching not only Traditional stories to students , also Geometry Coordination , Concentration , teamwork and greatest of all is developing Memory . Natyashashtra is Amazing . 2004 - six teachers in NW came together to create collective of exceptional Nritya to perform and teach students as well . 🕉

Last time I talked about the squares , circles and arcs. Here's the proof @melkolupu Kallu terichi chudandi ra anavasaram comment chese vallu Bhavam Ragam Thaalam #BhaRaTha Desam ante kalalaku koluvu Kalalu oka Adhyatmika sadhana 🙏🙏

BTW this dance form is Odissi, one of the eight classical dance forms of India 🇮🇳 (from my state).

The music.

This is one of the Indian temple dance forms Odissi from the state of Orissa

Massimo cracked the code, say anything pleasing to the emotionally insecure Indians, guaranteed engagement! Kudos 👍 BTW, although the aesthetics here is incredible, such geometric patterns are universal to any biological, even to many non-biological movements.

Wow! So cool. Perhaps this is why the DMT entities move the way they do

@kudalpradeep68 Maths is the language of Gods 🙏

Watching organic bodies resolve into rigid mathematical patterns is a masterclass in esthetic coherence. We mapped how these visual alignments create harmony within complex hybrid systems—layer 2 is surprisingly deep. 📐 Deep dopamine hits different 👇

You can find it in anything if you want. Even in a pooping minkey movements.

This never occurred to me before. So beautiful. Thank you!

சதிராட்டம் / Sathiraattam (Bharatanatyam) originated in Tamil Nadu, Oldest classical dance tradition in the country, with roots tracing back over 4,000 years...

It's cool. Just stop importing it into the west, please.

Odissi.. the classical dance of Odisha.. Symmetry at it's best

I need to see all dance forms likes this, what are we waiting for?

Interesting but if you drew circles and shapes around a Backstreet Boys dance you could calculate and find patterns too. Dancing inherently puts together forms and shapes like that.

“From the world of programming and coding and developing robots and brain implants….The wonders of mathematical analysis, and realizing geometry is the key to everything…”

.

I love how dance and geometry come together here

How does one do this

Sacred Geometry since age

It's Natyashashtra in motion

Odissi dance form of Odisha, India.

@grok did you noticed any equations? If yes, can u generate similar dance using that equation?

Visualization of Hooke’s Law (F = -kx) onto human movement by treating joints as anchors in a spring-mass lattice. I love to see it.
