We ended up throwing the last 2 games to finish 14-2 and lost the Super Bowl that year to the Saints. 16 years later many Colts fans consider this to be one of the worst moments in franchise history. Sometimes, you only get one chance to do something special. We didn't to try and get the Super Bowl and ultimately we got neither. Your franchise will likely never get this chance again. I understand the injury route, but if it happens it happens. Go for the record! You can have both, or none, or maybe 1.

That’s crazy they finna shut him down “for the playoffs” or “for the bigger picture”, but who’s to say the Eagles won’t get eliminated first round? So he could possibly miss out on a record and chance to win a Super Bowl. That’s selfish by the coach and organization.
