@vdmempire Bravery? This has nothing to do with bravery. This is simply the natural stage of a less privileged Nigerian who recognized an opportunity and seized it.

The man knows the risk, but hunger and bills don’t care about explosion risks. Fix the distribution system, get fuel to filling stations at affordable prices, and scenes like this will disappear tomorrow. Until then, let’s not just call him foolish, ask why the system pushed him there.

@vdmempire I'm once a tanker driver. What he did back there wasn't stupidity. What many don't understand is that he can be charged for the loss of the product if he is not having an understanding boss.

This isn’t bravery or stupidity, it’s survival. When fuel is scarce, transport prices skyrocket, and people can’t feed their families, someone with no options will take this kind of risk. The real question is why, in an oil-producing country, ordinary citizens still have to gamble with their lives to get petrol in 2025.

@vdmempire That Company needs to Just Get Container Insurance, and Good In transit Insurance. It will cover the unnecessary stress. If he had lost his life the Company would still have recovered the business loss but life can't be recovered no matter the insurance.
