@TXSTgameday I may be the outlier here, but I’m not a huge fan of the start logo. Would rather the supercat or script Cats. But other than that they look pretty sharp.

Lame. The most exposure we'll see all year and we go with an alternate logo. We're the Bobcats, not the Stars.

Last time these teams met was 1930. Texas State was named Southwest Texas State Teachers College. Texas won 36 to 0. We have seen a lot of Texas State students wearing Longhorn gear every semester. No rivalry exists for these two schools. Pretty cool that they are playing again after 96 years. Texas is favored by 30 plus points, Texas State needs to come out and compete. No high expectations exist, Cats need to maximize their teams performance. This may be the largest crowd Texas State players have played in front of. With ESPN coverage, and folks looking at the Horns, Texas State will gain more visibility as well. College football season is back!
