@Warlock_Shabby Well, It doesn't matter how much skill a sport requires; if people don't watch it, sponsors won't pay attention. it depends on people's interests. Everyone should have the choice to choose their fav sports. you can't make someone watch a particular sport.

Not really, she is speaking with an air of frustration. Nothing can be achieved for other sports by beating down one sport. The point that resonates with me is that people are following them because they have achieved something in their sport. So it’s simple, start winning stuff and people will passionately follow the sport. Cricket didnt become what it is overnight. We won the 83 world cup despite all odds, which springboarded its penetration in India. It has been a journey since then. Also, add to it the rich history of the sport- the oldest team sport that exists on the planet. In this country, any successful person can say that they succeeded despite being born in India, because nothing is easy here. So yeah, no sympathies here if your only argument is that ‘why cricket’
