I had a run-in with Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson's anti-police senior aide, Kennedy Bartley, whom he recently promoted and increased her salary to $192K at a time when he's frozen city hires and cut police academy classes. This is at a time when Chicago is down... 2,000 police officers. Chicago… this just happened on our North Side, at Swedish Hospital. Two police officers shot… at a hospital. A place where people go for help, turned into a crime scene. And recently, a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the neck while walking near Grant Park in downtown Chicago. This is NOT normal.
