when he says “some degree”, he really means all of it, and when he says “long term” he means 5-10 yrs, though he can’t really say it due to his position. humanity is in for an existential rug pull, dears. systemic reconfiguration, at sufficient velocity, resembles viol-nce.

I don’t believe it does more to help the poor than it does the rich, that it a bit absurd. Sure, AI the digital Robin Hood but let's not forget the other side of the coin. AI can also automate jobs, which could potentially widen the gap between the haves and the have-nots. AI has the potential to do a lot of good for the poor, but it ALSO has the potential to exacerbate existing inequalities.
