Elon Musk claims to have finished a 100,000-strong H100 cluster in four months. How likely is that?

I'd bet against that.

Why is the goal spending as much $ as possible?

He’s anticipating significant inflation for next 4 years of tariffs in his future pricing model of AI compute clusters.

My God, $5 trillion needed to advance AI research and expand compute. What’s next? Do we need the whole wealth of the world for this?

The situation awareness was all real

The investment in AI may keep increasing as its importance increases, economically and in many other ways. For anyone interested in how AI may change our economy and society, read "The Last AI" by S. M. Sohn, the book that introduces AI Economics!

Masa does not have the money. Microsoft money you think you have is not for Stargate it is for Azure! The only way Stargate becomes a reality is when Elon takes control of Open AI again!

That's ridiculous, if ASI pans out it will become more efficient, not less.... because by most measures we've reached the intellectual plateau centuries ago... sure trillions through inflation, but technological innovation should keep that at bay - it's just technology, and technology hasn't done much but change the scenery. Heraclitus: φύσις κρύπτεσθαι φιλεῖ ("Nature loves to hide"). The Greeks unveiled her first principles; we merely polish the veil... and polish it to perfection, we will, if these Polycrateans don't choke the life out of everything before we get a chance.... TL;DR All of modernity is merely a footnote to Plato.

I love your posts about Ai, but sorry, I can't listen to this guy anymore.
