Sam Antonacci describing how he plays: "Unorthodox, probably a little annoying to the other team. I'm gonna do anything I can to win the game, even if it's a little bit... different." He's dialed in constantly. I honestly have't seen anyone with his level of intensity here in Charlotte,... show more

I asked Mune Murakami what else he'd like to check off the list here in Charlotte to make sure he's ready for Chicago. His reply?! "Maybe just to cut my hair... to clean up a little bit overall." 🤣 #WhiteSox Charlotte Knights

🎙️ Zach Lowe on potential Jaylen Brown trades: "I tried with Charlotte, just because I do think Charlotte has a ton of stuff and they're clearly ripe for a little bit of a win-now move... but I'm not parting out of my; I'm not doing Knueppel, I'm not doing Miller. LaMelo, I don't know that Boston is gonna be interested in that. I'm not messing with what happened in Charlotte." (📹

🎙️ Sam Vecenie: "Charlotte is building something genuinely special right now." "I love the Kon (Knueppel) fit—that guy's gonna be a star. I've been really impressed by Brandon Miller recently. This is the best basketball I've seen LaMelo (Ball) play in his career. He's clearly the one driving the winning there. Moussa Diabate has been awesome." 🎙️ On Coby White's fit: "If you're Charlotte, you do probably need to invest a high level in your sixth man/backup lead guard. You need to get somebody that's worth what Coby White is worth on the court. I love the system fit. He's from there. I hope he enjoys his time there and is like, you know what, I'll stick around." 🎙️ On upcoming payroll decisions: "A lot of these guys are gonna have to get paid. Kon not for a while, but Miller is gonna have to get paid this summer—they're gonna have to do an extension. Diabate is gonna have to get paid soon; he's making the minimum right now. That's not gonna last forever. I'm really interested to see how Charlotte approaches this." Full segment on Game Theory w/ Sam Vecenie:

Asked #Browns GM Andrew Berry about who they're getting in Shedeur Sanders the person. "He's probably a little bit opposite in terms of his personality of his dad...a little bit quieter, a little bit more introverted..He works hard, he's a really good kid, he wants to be great."

PRX alecks: "So, I'm from the coaching booth, so I don't really see anyone, but I can hear a lot, and I think my team, my boys are the type of players that enjoy these things a lot. Today, a little bit of pressure, but we can hear the crowd pushing us forward. I can hear 'Paper Rex' [chant]. It's an amazing feeling. And I think everyone has been really warm. Everyone that we met in Chile has been extremely warm and welcoming. So, yep, we want to do our best in this stadium. I want to play at the finals if we can."

Q: What are some of the things you’ve seen with Hyeseong the last couple weeks that warrant him getting sort of reset down in Triple-A? DAVE ROBERTS: I think his swing has changed. I think he’s losing his legs a little bit, I think he’s coming around the ball a little bit. There’s a lot more swing-and-miss than there was early. I think he is just playing a little bit—with my eyes—more tentative, and not as free & easy as he was in some parts of last year and early on. So I think that just kind of getting him back to playing every day in a little bit less of a hot box, he’ll perform back to where he can and will. And so that’s kind of what we’re hoping for. 🎥: DodgersBeat | Dodgers News & Interviews

🗣️🇵🇹 | Ruben Amorim asked if he can make Milan play like Fabregas's Como: “If you want a team that plays like Como, you need to buy the manager of Como. I'm completly different, I have my style of play and idendity. We are in different clubs. I'm not focused on how Como is playing, I'm focused on how to win games and play in the way that I feel that is the right way of playing. Of course I want to steal a lot of things from a lot of managers, but I don't copy managers.”

I know I'm a bit late to the party here but the Boltgun devs releasing a free TYPING game to advertise Boltgun 2 is the best bit of Boomshot marketing I've seen in a long time:

I've seen a lot of drivers over the years, but Oscar Piastri is different gravy. He's an elite driver, and you'll never convince me otherwise. Let's not forget, it's only his third season in F1. He deserves a better team.

🎙️ Charles Lee: "When (Kon Knueppel) had his draft workout, there was this level of seriousness with him. I walked over at one point to say something to him during a drill and I made a joke, and he looked at me like, 'This isn't funny. I'm here to work. I'm here to get drafted.'" "And I was like, 'I like this guy.' You can coach him hard. You can say what you need to say, and he can get the message without getting too emotional... he's just even-keeled. And I felt that during the season, he just doesn't back down from anybody. He's not afraid of a moment. We saw it a little bit at Duke, where he can be the guy that can play off of (Cooper) Flagg, and then all of a sudden Flagg goes down and he can be the guy, dominate the ball, and play with the ball." "LaMelo (Ball)'s on the court, Brandon (Miller)'s on the court, he can play with them, but then if they get hurt, he can step up and be the guy. He's so effective in a lot of different ways and he picks things up so quickly. How people are guarding him or watching Donovan Mitchell do his little high pickup and get fouled, now Kon's trying to do the high pickup and he gets fouled... it's fun to watch him play the game and how he approaches every day." 🎙️ Russillo: "I couldn't believe the way he saw the game at that age... my favorite part of him is, 'Alright, pick whatever other four you want, he'll figure out a way to fit in with the other four.' Doesn't matter, like any combination of the other four guys, he'll find a way to impact it."
