Who does Sam Burns think he is, Rory McIlroy?

PGA players when they don’t a free drop in a very obvious non-relief situation

The completely exposed ball he thinned into the side of the bunker? Yes, I think they got it right.

Why do your pro’s think they can get relief from lies that us amateurs would just get on and play? It’s not even a difficult shot and he would get up and down 8 out of 10 times

yes, bad luck is part of the game

I think it’s the correct call because the ball is not imbedded. Just a tough shot.

If it was Rory they woulda given relief. Same reason they’re moving up the tee times so he doesn’t have to play in bad weather. The favoritism is ridiculous. It’s the Scottish open and they’re afraid of some rain and wind?!?! What a joke.

I’m confused why would there remotely be relief given on this? Am I missing something?

Given that this is the year 2023, might if not be easier for these officials to pull out their smartphones and FaceTime each other to show the position of the golf ball, instead of desperately trying to come up with the words to describe it in a conversation?

The correct call. He's not on or in the sod seam.
