@samstein but @lisamurkowski could have shielded Alaskans from even MORE of the harm of this bill, as well as the people of the other 49, but voting "no". Unless she is that excited about the whaling boat captains getting more deductions.

@samstein Unfortunately Sam is correct, this is going to pass in the House, I don't care how much we light up their switchboards. The Senate is not getting another whack at it, can't even say shame on Her/them, they have no shame!

@samstein Question: Where's Dan Sullivan during all this? Or how about Ted Budd, of NC? How come he's so quiet while Tillis speaks up?

@samstein Perhaps the voters in the other 49 GOP States should ask their public servants “ why the fuck didn’t you stand up for us like Lisa did for her voters?” Just saying!

@samstein It’s been done before. A consequence of gop dishonesty often repeated wrt ACA: “you can no longer see your Dr,” which Republicans claim was an Obama lie, came about bc mcconnell early on tried to sabotage ACA by restricting coverage in areas of red states/districts. Subversion.

@samstein Sounds like some Republicans can take a page from the Murkowski playbook and holdout their vote for cutouts

@samstein Does this not offend some "eeual protection" language. Can Congress pick and choose what states are subject to what federal laws?
