This is literally wicked. If the main character is teased, she doesn't act above it. She uses dark magic to make something bad happen to the person taunting her. Fast fwd to "The Craft" and the witches make the bully LOSE her hair. This instills in girls a desire to get even through harm... and that's exactly what you've seen arise in our culture alongside interest in witchcraft.
