Miami’s 227-metre new Bentley Residences skyscraper has kicked-off with a mammoth concrete pour. Construction team’s poured continuously for 36 hours using 10 pumps. In total the process involved a staggering 2,100 truckloads and more than 15,000 cubic metres of concrete. Developed by Dezer Development and Bentley, the skyscraper is set to become the tallest oceanfront building in the US when it completes in 2027 🏗️

Cambodian Monks Hold Peace Pilgrimage for Lasting Peace PHNOM PENH--Around 2,569 Buddhist monks from two sects—Maha Nikaya and Dhammayuttika Nikaya—are joining a peace pilgrimage on August 10 at 3 PM in Phnom Penh. The purpose of the pilgrimage is to advocate for a permanent ceasefire and to promote lasting peace, stability, and safety in both Cambodia and Thailand. Additionally, the pilgrimage includes offering alms to encourage the Thai authorities to release the remaining 18 captured soldiers. The peace pilgrimage starts at Wat Phnom and ends at the Independence Monument. Armed clashes between the Cambodian and Thai militaries took place from July 24 through 28 along the border, forcing thousands of Cambodian and Thai civilians to flee for safety. Despite the ceasefire agreement reached on July 28, both countries continued to accuse each other of violating the ceasefire up until the GBC meeting, where both agreed in the 13 joint commitment points.

WATCH: A historic moment: The Pilgrimage Road recently opened in the City of David, welcoming visitors for the first time in nearly 2,000 years. This stone-paved road once led pilgrims from the Pool of Siloam to the Temple Mount during the three pilgrimage festivals - Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot. The place was bustling and full of shops during the Second Temple period. For hundreds of years, the site was buried under soil. It has been uncovered stone by stone and now offers a rare opportunity to walk the same path our ancestors walked.

Currently, 96 km is operational, including 19-km Yellow Line with a daily footfall of 1 lakh passengers and a 30% drop in traffic along its corridor. An additional 41 km will be opened in 2026 and 38 km, including the airport line, by December 2027. Tenders for 100 km under Phase 3 will be called next month. Phase 3 is estimated at ₹25,311 crore, with ₹15,600 crore from JICA and ₹9,700 crore worth of works to be tendered in January.
