Same prompt. Opus 5.5 built Sakura Crossing in 2 hours. That's 1/12 the time Opus 5 took, and it's on another level.

OPUS 4.6 WAS NERFED DUE TO DEMAND BUT OPUS 4.5 DOES NOT SEEM TO BE HIT this guy ran the same test on both models. Opus 4.6 fails consistently but Opus 4.5 passes every time he switched back to Opus 4.5 on Claude Code and said "what a difference, feels like i got Opus back finally" he is now using this test as a "quantization canary" that runs it at the start of every session before doing real work. if it fails, the model is degraded. five Opus 4.6 windows in a row failed the untransparent nerfing is pushing people to cancel their Max plans if you've been feeling like Opus got dumber lately, you're not imagining it i'd suggest switching to Opus 4.5 to see the difference for yourself

Stop saying that Opus 4.6 is better than Opus 4.8. I just tested Claude Opus 4.8 (Right) and Claude Opus 4.6 (Left) on the same exact prompt. Claude Opus 4.8 completed it in less than 2 minutes. Claude Opus 4.6 "Garnished" for over 7 minutes. Stop using Opus 4.6.

Gemini 3.8 Flash vs Opus 5 same prompt to each model and i wasn't expecting gemini 3.8 flash to be this fast! build time: > Opus 5: 24 minutes > 3.8 Flash: 37 seconds 💀 if gemini is given same time as opus 5 it will mog the hell out of opus in terms of quality too which one would you choose here?

The solar system is a study in chronological lag. When you look at the Sun, you are peering 8 minutes and 13 seconds into the past. By the time that same light reaches Neptune, over four hours have vanished. We tend to visualize space as a static map, but it is actually a staggered broadcast of ancient photons. This visualization captures the profound isolation of the outer giants. While Mercury is practically bathing in real time, the rest of the family is drifting in a massive delay. We are all orbiting the same flame, just at different points in history. Credit: cosmicverse

🚨 JUST IN: Claude got a huge update today and I'm flattered to be a part of it. As of now, Claude Opus 4.6 can build mobile apps and prepare shipping them on the Apple + Google app stores. We just launched Shipper a new package that empowers Claude to: → Build complete mobile apps → Recreate existing apps → Assure iOS & Android compatibility → Autofill listings for both app stores (app icon, images, descriptions, keywords, privacy policy etc) Claude Opus 4.6 can do all of the above in one prompt for ~$0.17/app... Publishable from the first prompt & built in 5 mins, not months. You can try it on Shipper by asking Claude to "create an AI chatbot like Perplexity" or "eBay style marketplace app for local goods". To celebrate this huge step forward, if you comment "SHIP" you will get free credits.

Jev is WILD for SEO audit 🤯 in 45.1 seconds it read all 586 pages on my site and rebuilt the internal link map. 584 links placed, 139 pages it refused to link because nothing honestly fit. total cost $0.21. Claude Opus 5, same 586 pages, same clock, got through 21 of them and spent $1.43. per page that is ~190x cheaper. the full Opus pass would have run $43. internal linking is the perfect Jev job. it is not writing, it is 8,790 yes/no calls: does this page have a real reason to link to that one, and is there anchor text already sitting in the copy. that is a classification problem, and we have been paying frontier prices to do it one page at a time. what you are watching: left column is Jev, right is Opus, same queue, same rubric. the run stops the moment Jev finishes so Opus stops burning tokens. coming soon to Distribb + connector + gpt plugin

this was one of the biggest weeks in AI because claude opus 4.6 and gpt-5.3 codex dropped basically at the SAME time. they solve the same problem in VERY different ways. - opus spins up agent teams and disappears for a while. - codex stays with you and ships ridiculously fast. i tested them both for you in this episode of The Startup Ideas Podcast (SIP) 🧃 (on yt/spot/apple/X) with my pal Morgan we set them up live, tuned them properly, and had each one build a polymarket clone from scratch. you’ll see where each one shines, where it struggles, and which approach actually fits how you work. if you’re trying to decide what to use next, this episode will save you a lot of trial and error.

Run Codex 24/7 in the cloud with Atomic Bot! Just hand it a repo and close the laptop. One click to start. We ran it on ours first and it found a bug nobody had answered. Codex fixed it before we got back.

Prompt engineering is not a thing. If two people type the same prompt and get different code, the prompt was ambiguous. That is not programming. With Shree Manickaraja and Cam on Compile After Class. [
