Mayor Bass: Just finished working with our city attorney to file a lawsuit—because we have to stop this mess. The idea of having troops go through the park and disrupt a children’s summer camp, or drive through the streets and just pick people off—people don’t know if a kidnapping is happening or what. So our city attorney is leading the way. We are filing a lawsuit and calling for an injunction to stop this. We need to remember who we are as a country. I’m very clear about who we are as a city, and I’m clear about my job—which is to make sure this city is safe for all Angelenos, regardless of when you came here, what country you came from, or why. We’ve got to stop it. We’re going to stand strong, because this city is united. We are not divided, and we’re not going to let anybody divide us.

Hey americanair we are about to takeoff from Los Angeles to London and a flagship service which everybody in business class has and apparently some get things that others don’t can you explain in particular because this is three full fair tickets that I have purchased and we’re not getting the same service as everybody else I find that shady and bad customer service you’re supposed to be pushing this flagship and at the moment it’s not hitting the ball out of the ballpark.

I was in Midtown on my way to the Bronx when I met a homeless man who told me he’s been left on the streets for years. This is the human cost of a broken shelter system and a failed Department of Homeless Services. We don’t have enough psychiatric beds. We don’t have safe shelters. We don’t have leadership. People with serious mental illness are being left to deteriorate in public. They are a danger to themselves and to others and our city turns a blind eye. As your Mayor, I will end this crisis. I will fix our shelters, expand hospital care, and bring back the NYPD Homeless Outreach Unit disbanded under DeBlasio. This is a humanitarian crisis. Day one we start treating it like one.
