Same dance, different fonts in different cultures. We are all so connected, in more ways than one F1- Batswana in South Africa F2- Banyarwanda in Rwanda F3- Coloured in South Africa & I think Namibia F4- Khoi & San in SADC

Andazi noba ndidunyelwa nga madoda but these are beautiful to watch but the second one is lovely 😭

The Rwanda men look like swans 🥰😍. Where Batswana and the Khoi have their hands are close to their bodies, theirs are out and flowing 🥺. So beautiful ❤️

Gorgeous to watch kakhulu. Yes, the look like swans ❤️

@Unobtainble777 F1 ba Northern Cape have a lot of similarities le F4 😭. Moaparo and alot of the moves.

@raptorr_xx @Unobtainble777 Very similar!

Was watching a documentary on Bakoni, the bantu and khoi how migration has influenced South Africa and its cultures we are 1 just from different countries

Deep in the mighty Kgalagadi, the fourth one (tsutsube) has a version (kuru) that can be danced around fire 🔥 below open skies all night - folk go into a trans, people get healed of sicknesses... it's evocatively exhilarating.

F1, F3 and F4 have same ancestry

I've seen Xhosa women do something similar.

F3 - those are Namas from Hantam in the Northern Cape. They are performing the "Nama stap" accompanied by my favourite guitarist,Boeta Gammie. You can Google him on YouTube.

It’s called the Riel dans

F3 is also uku Xhentsa

3rd one is called "Riel"

Yes!!! The riel dance 🥰

1st video ke borankana dance, last is Tsutsube or pharatlhane, there's phatisi ( beautiful my favourite) , setapa , I forgot the fifth dance style

Same dance on our side ko bo Middlepits, Bokspits etc. They call it Polka

Which one?

F2 but just a slight variation

Just beautiful! Guys, what is preventing us from being the happiest continent? It just doesn't make sense.

The Rwanda guys....i like that one. 😂😂😂

Love them!! So elegant

Ke Morolong. F3 Riel ke ya barwa as my grandmother refers to them. I'm from both sides. Motswana and Coloured. Re Bakone rotlhe lol

We are only divided by lines drawn by colonial men

@smallmodikwa F1-Setapa F3-Polka F4-Tsutsube 😍

Doesn’t mean Africa should unite.

Frame three is the riel dans by Nama and Griqua people of the Northern Cape (and perhaps including Namibia) while frame four is tsutsube by Basarwa/San.

Tsustube is actually tswana but it’s also a Basarwa dance but they call it something else.

Khanisimele ngohambe nisifanise. If you are one move to rewanda

Beutiful

😍😍😍 We are one

F4 is Batswana

Originally Khoi & San.

This is a beautiful dance👌

We all know batswana assimilated the basarwa /Khoisan so you proud of killing people and raping them .

This is Just Beautiful ❤️

Reel 4 e fetsa ditlhako.

@dramadelinquent the argument about people being different and what not will fall apart soon!
