"Around 70% of Telugu film collections come from Andhra Pradesh and 30% from Telangana," says Nandamuri Balakrishna. He said the Telugu film industry was established in Hyderabad because it was the undivided state's capital. Now Amaravati is emerging as a major capital and is developing across all sectors, he believes the film industry should also expand into Andhra Pradesh. Balakrishna urged Andhra Pradesh and Telangana film chambers to establish a presence in Amaravati as well, saying it is time to develop the Telugu cinema ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh alongside Hyderabad.

The removal of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue in Bollikunta, Warangal district, by the police is a highly condemnable and shameful act. This is yet another example of the Congress Govt's anti-Hindu mindset in Telangana. Time and again, Congress has chosen appeasement politics over respecting the faith and sentiments of the Hindu community. It is disgraceful that, instead of protecting the statue, the police detained BJP Karyakartas, Hindu organization leaders, and local villagers who peacefully opposed its removal. Chhatrapati Shivaji is an eternal symbol of valor, Hindu pride, the protection of Dharma, and national self-respect. Insulting his legacy is an insult to the sentiments of millions of Indians. If the Congress Govt continues to pursue its politics of appeasement while trampling upon Hindu sentiments, it should be prepared to face the wrath of the Hindu community.

My stand on Telangana and the interests of its people has always been consistent. Following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, while certain law and order concerns were raised, I clearly opposed the implementation of Section 8, as I believed it would undermine the self-respect and right to self-governance of the people of Telangana. I have always maintained that respecting the aspirations and rights of the people of Telangana is as important as addressing the security concerns of the people of Andhra Pradesh. Instead of invoking provisions like Section 8, I believed that special coordination mechanisms, parliamentary oversight, and measures that build mutual trust between the two states would provide a more constructive and lasting solution. I have never supported politics that seeks to destabilize Telangana. My belief has always been in protecting the interests of the people of both Telugu states through mutual respect, peace, cooperation, and a spirit of brotherhood. #JaiBharat #JaiHind
