Same equation. Two different mindsets.😄 🧠 Mathematician: "Is it correct?" 🔧 Engineer: "Does it work?" Which method do you prefer?

In fact, Mathematicians take advantage of factorisation first, and they are the ones teaching Engineers Mathematics.

I prefer the engineer’s method. Why expand the brackets when you can divide by 3 first and make the problem disappear faster? Same maths, fewer opportunities to make a stupid mistake.

I definitely do the Engineer way. Uhmm

Mathematician "let's use the laws..." Engineer "let's get straight to it"

Or do it my way... 3x9 = 27 so x + 5 = 9 so x = 4. Done 😎💪

i have used both depending on the problem

divided by 3 once and started packing up while everyone else was still distributing

Stop this nonsense LMAO

@YusufAsunmogejo That's why most of the best mathematics teachers that have tutored me at home & school are Engineers & not those that studied Maths & Stats. 😂😂. They like shortcuts

You are offering a fork...

What if you are both?

Engineers method

Engineers no dey waste time

NOT Mathematician but stupid students, NOT Engineer but normal students.

Second one

🤣🤣😅😅😂That formula is very long.. cant we share the answer

🤦🏽♂️Every Engineer starts with mathematics, why shame the profession for clout?

Nope it depends on how you thought first

Engineer needs to know BODMAS..... Bracket first

🤔

Mathematician approach is the best

Imagine how much logic practice differs over time.

Good mathematics

THERE IS NO ENGINEERING SOLUTION WITHOUT BASIC MATHEMATICS.

@BuduMalli Seriously 🤦♂

Mathematician is a teacher

Amazing video..glad i did not skip

ONE more option 27/3=9 (9-5=4 ) x=4

Don't agree with this...

3(x+5) = 27 (3x4 + 3x5) = (12 + 15) = 27 You know x is 4 right off.

Math teaches isolating a variable by the reverse of PEMDAS which will start with reversing the multiplication. So your characterization of the engineering way from the mathematician is incorrect.

Mgmt expert* : 27÷3=x+5 9-5=x=4 * Nataranjan Bohidar @odiyatoka

Engineer: x=27/3-5=4
