Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Fold 8 Ultra? 🤔

I definitely pre-ordered the Samsung Fold 8 Ultra. The reason why I did that is because the features I use every single day are missing from the Samsung Fold 8 Wide.

Meh, I don't see the usefulness/reliability/longevity to price ratio for foldables being worth it, so neither. Cool gimmick to those that enjoy them without worrying about price, but with the current economy, it's a super niche product at best.

Fold 8 Ultra for me. I played with the wide boi and it's just not the form factor for me. Glad we have options.

Ultra is bigger, better camera setup, better charging, better battery, better display. Purpose of the Z is to use the big screen, the Fold 8 is inferior and also discourages use of big screen by simply using mostly the front screen.

I think the Fold 8 is actually a bigger phone LMAO You can literally rotate the fold 8 while opened and it'll turn into fold 8 ultra And while non opened its more of a fun usable phone than the ultra ATP Samsung making Ultra just for the sake of being ahead of Apple.

Fold8. Though, I really wish it had a telephoto lens on it even if they didn't give it the full 200 MP main sensor. I got hands on with the wide one at Best Buy and fell in love instantly. The form factor is awesome. Yes, the larger inner display of the Ultra is technically better for multitasking, but for someone who does both media consumption and productivity multitasking, I think the regular Fold8 is a spot for both.

ZF8U is the one that makes more sense IMHO, it is a comfortable one hand device when closed and a mini tablet when opened. The ZF8 is cool, but what's the point of portability if then I always need 2 hands for typing?

Both are expensive and useless.

I have been in China not so long ago.. and I can see the reality about this.. Apple and Samsung are waaaaay back, compared to Huawei. Even the new model looks like an old bad copy! Zero innovation, 100% price..

Pixel Fold. Software always beats hardware. Samsung's software is bloated.

Already have the fold 7 so went for fold 8. Not much changed in the ultra.

If I were to get one I’d get the Fold8 since that’s the one with all the hype around it. But technically the Ultra is better.
