The three-eyed dancer, who is a spy for Aku, shows up again in episode 34, and is the ONLY other resident of the future besides the Scotsman with a second appearance before the final season. Samurai Jack's commitment to having no established supporting cast was an insane feat.

the first episode of samurai jack started out so strong and then they kind of derailed with with the seven samurai dog plot

Beautiful Chinese Hanfu and Chinese hairstyles~Both Chinese and Japanese know well that the clothes in Samurai Jack are Chinese Hanfu.

It's also funny to think this was the censured outcome, all the oil (in other episodes) and machine apendiges are there to avoid showing blood. Sounds silly with the clip of the night club with pole, uh..... orb dancing. But a lot of the old censure was nonsense anyway.

Not that the it's not already fantastic as it is; but sometimes I wish that Jack had a higher age rating so it didn't have to pan away whenever jack fights organics.

Samurai Jack 2001 is incredible, every scene feels epic, the atmosphere and story carry so much weight, and the action is still unforgettable.

I remember when this premiered, it was around the time we had just got a GameCube and we rented pikmin (was taking a break from melee) anyway when this came out, I so wanted a samurai jack game, that’s why now I play the hell out of the samurai Jack video game that’s out now.

I remember my half brother walking into the room as I was walking the Samurai Jack premiere movie at this part and flat out saying “Holy shit! That’s a strip club!”

I like how nobody points out this is inspired by the Cantina scene from Star Wars, except with the edgy futurism that was popular when Samurai Jack came out

Samurai jack just making everyone robots/cyborgs instead of having gore was always wild to me.
