This would come off remarkably lame in some circumstances, but for some reason, this style of show really leant itself to the improvisations of that script writing. I think it's quite a marvel looking back, to be fair and knowing of lesser examples ala *ahem* 4Kids improv.

Yeah, it's partially about knowing what material should and shouldn't be taken seriously. 95% of this show is a complete joke and proudly knows it. I felt Team Rocket under 4Kids was absolutely brilliant because they're similarly joke characters.

And Saban being Saban just let this slide? Did he even watch the shows he produced?
