Samurai Resident Evil

this game is amazing i hope you enjoy it. if you do definitely try out genma onimusha, it’s an xbox exclusive port and it’s way harder than the original. it adds a few new mechanics it’s very fun to blaze through

Interesting, so it's like Tenchu Wrath of Heaven where it also got an updated Xbox release with extra content not present on PS2.

Funny enough, this game WAS originally going to be on N64, sadly they chose the PS2 instead

PS2 was the better choice If I'm being honest, since it had less limitations and they could display the pre-rendered backgrounds at a higher resolution compared to PS1 and N64 offered.

It’s funny to see some Capcom Series that had Resident Evil-Like Gameplay in terms of Tank Controls and Finding Clues. Devil May Cry was gonna be like Resident Evil until it became it’s Own Genre that eventually inspires the Hack and Slash Genre!

The first "samurai RE" I got to play was Soul of the Samurai back on the PS1. Pretty forgotten title I must say.
