San Francisco remains crime-ridden. How did it get this bad?

The last republican Mayor of San Francisco was in 1964, so 59 years of democrat policy in action.
It got that bad because they know that no-one will stop them. If they did and they were arrested, they would be back on the street within the hour. If someone tried to stop them, that person would be arrested, and woul NOT be back on the street for many, many days.
Who leaves luggage in their car in San Fran anymore? This has become common knowledge.
Democrats.
The painful truth: Progressives encourage crime for racial reasons. And resist putting thugs of any color (especially black criminals) in jail.
Government spends too much money on other countries wars
Easy- Democratic Leadership. It tends to stain all big cities.
SF has subculture that's coddled by woke politicians and lawmakers. That's a recipe for disaster.
