1. He wasn't trying to kill anyone. The Police and Spidey keep getting in his way. 2. He's a father and would do anything to help his daughter. 3. He sided with Venom to ensure spiderman doesn't come across him again. Y'all never paid an ounce of attention to these movies

I think the thing that destroyed this character for me is the final fight. His character is inconsistent and Peter' reaction makes no sense because like he just says "he didn't want any of it" just like he said in the begining so.... will he just do crime again and Peter let him?

I guess you could chalk a lot of it up to him not knowing how his powers work. Though was that crowd killed?

It’s really not that hard to understand. Hes a good man but was hurting bad after confrontation with his gf, he impulsively attacked cops and sm cause of it

Nonewithstanding other valid criticisms of his character, I don't think him regretting a civilian death before is contradicted because he doesn't care about human collateral after becoming a monster and with nothing to lose. I just a change rather than an inconsistency.
