Voiceover is me. The film industry still trains young actresses to treat humiliation as part of the job. Sandra Bullock refused to oblige, and that’s why her career has lasted. Bullock said recently in Interview magazine that a casting pervert once told her to drop her pants. She walked out. Every young actor gets sold the line that you’ll never work again if you say no. Bullock said no anyway and then built her career. Practical Magic 2 is in theaters now because she didn’t treat humiliation as the price of getting into films. She told Jennifer Aniston she was a waitress in New York auditioning for “every pervert that existed.” The request was the same. She said that wasn’t the role for her. That shouldn’t be the role for any woman. People who are too scared to leave the creepy casting room when they’re propositioned still run a lot of the motion picture business. Bullock left that predatory room. All women need to stand up for themselves the same way. Self-respect saves more than careers. That’s a lesson for women to applaud. Respect yourself and demand respect. And it’s worth saying, creepy men give all men a bad name. When women put the creeps in their place, women do the good men a favor too.

Two things. First I should finish watching a video before I make comments on it. I didn’t realize Candace herself says the camera was on the inside of his shirt in 2025. Candace Charlie wasn’t an idiot. He knew why they were putting it on the inside of the shirt. Don’t you think he’d be a part of the change on how it was worn? He was Not a frog. Smh. And second.
