Among the list of victims were: Shri Manjunath from Chikmagalur. Shri Bharat Bhushan from Bengaluru. I spoke to both the wives of the deceased, Pallavi and Sujata, this morning. They are at present safe, but they are worried about the future. I spoke to the KPCC, and the Cabinet has deputed Labour Minister Santosh Lad. He said that he met two members of the family and their children. He also met nearly 200 tourists from Karnataka there in various hotels and arranged flights to return to Bangalore. I have also requested J&K CM Umar Abdullah to make arrangements for those who are not in touch with their respective states. Yesterday night, I spoke to our Home Minister; he promised me that he will take care of all those people. I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and their loved ones in the tragic incident. The summer season has started, and tourists have started visiting the region. Tourism is also the biggest source of income for Jammu and Kashmir. They are dependent on that income. But due to this attack, Shri Omar Abdullah has told me that this year the economy has collapsed. The Government of India is ruling there, as it's a Union Territory, still not declared as a state. So the response would be from the Government of India.
