Sasuke carrying around his brother as he exacts revenge on all the power players who utilized him as a tool when he was a child is scary

I allways felt the anime made it to obvious that it was genjutsu. Still a cool scene, this and the deidara fight were the moments Sasuke showed his high battle iq best.

Yo reading this for the first time I thought sasuke died during the battle with his brother it was all an illusion that we saw

Every time I think of this season, those 5 seconds of glaring, Sasuke was thinking "How do I f**k with this old man- ACTUALLY." and that's how the Itachi Genjutsu came in mind. All of this part of his big plan.

Hot take (?) was it just me or did it feel like his mangekyo genjustu was broken out of too many times and didn’t feel as powerful as it should have

It's not even that for me he wanted to break that man in every way. All the eyes he took for his fellow Uchiha for his benefit he needed to suffer all the way to the end.

I didn’t understand this part because Itachi eyes hasn’t been transplanted by Obito yet!?
