Warsaw will hand over its MiG-29s to Kyiv in exchange for a batch of drones and access to Ukrainian drone technology. The fighter jets could be transferred within weeks. Just a month ago, negotiations were at a standstill. Poland wanted military know-how in exchange for aircraft that would otherwise have been scrapped. Ukraine, however, was reluctant to share its technology. Poland is still playing it safe — Warsaw fears that, because of the war, Ukraine could invoke force majeure and ultimately keep the drones.

A large fire broke out near the airfield following the strikes. ▪️ "Elektropribor" Plant (Penza): The enterprise, which operates within the Russian military-industrial complex and produces equipment for control systems, aviation, armored vehicles, and the space industry, was hit. Long-range drones struck the facility, with explosions and smoke reported at the site.

Satellite imagery suggests China has deployed 11 J-20 stealth fighter jets at Hotan and Damxung airbases, both located close to India's northern border. The J-20 is China's fifth-generation stealth fighter, designed to reduce radar detection and carry weapons internally. While this deployment reflects China's growing ability to routinely operate advanced fighters near the border, it does not by itself indicate that a conflict is imminent. India continues to maintain a strong air combat capability with Rafale, Su-30MKI, Tejas, and other fighter aircraft, while the indigenous AMCA stealth fighter remains under development. Ukraine’s skydiving plane is now shooting down Russian drones. This isn’t a fighter jet. It’s an old civilian An-28 that was once used for parachute jumps. Now, it is armed with a machine gun, and its volunteer crew shoots down Russian drones. The heart and soul of the crew is Valery Slipkan. He lost his son in the first days of the full-scale war. Valery has lived in a trailer on an airfield for nine months, turning the old plane into a drone hunter. Source: the New York Times

We started with simple kamikaze sea drones. Then we built drones with turrets that can shoot down helicopters. Now we have drones that can shoot down Russian fighter jets from the sea. We have developed boats that carry other drones. We also have boats that strike targets on land from the sea. And we are developing more stable drones that can operate longer and more effectively at sea. Soon – and not in the distant future – we will have systems that can operate even in ocean conditions. We are also actively working on underwater systems. So, facing threats in the Black Sea, we are finding the right security solutions. These solutions can be used in your matters as well – including in complex situations like the Strait of Hormuz today. Drones can solve problems that even a fleet sometimes cannot.
