This man became irate at the Delta Airlines crew of this flight in Atlanta. This happened in April and the flight was already delayed 3-4 hours and when they boarded the plane they were delayed even more sitting on the plane for almost an hour. The man demanded that they pull into a gate and let him off. At one point, he opens the door. 🤯 The captain of the plane comes on over the loudspeaker and tells him that they will indeed pull into a gate and let him off but he wants him to sit down. Surprisingly, many people sided with the man saying they understood his frustration and it was ridiculous to be delayed for 3-4 hours and then have to wait on the tarmac for almost another hour. Some pointed out that there is a law that now says they cannot keep you on board for so many hours, but that law states no longer than three hours. Other people said he should have waited and been patient like the other passengers and that it is out of the crew’s control. They went back to the gate and the man was taken into custody by police. What do you think? Did he make too much of a commotion or do you think he was right and they should have let those passengers get off the plane?

This Veteran was driving into town. He noticed a funeral procession and pulled over. He noticed on the back of the hearse there was a USMC sticker, so he got out and stood at attention and saluted. “And as I did that, cars behind me started to honk. And they weren’t happy. I kept that salute through the honking and people scooting by…. I don’t know what kind of world we live in anymore and I don’t know if I’m created for a world that doesn’t exist anymore….So the question is, did I do what was right? Or am I just an echo from a long bygone era?” I salute you brother! You were taught and raised well, raised with respect. People don’t even pull over anymore. Not sure if they were taught to do so or they are all just in a dang big hurry like the rest of the world is to get where they need to be. Much respect for the person in the hearse and much respect for you for honoring that Veteran. Kudos brother 🤝🫡

You have to have a really good body, the right look, and the right push all together to be able to do what Randy does and get over. What I suspect is going to happen is Je'Von will tone down... it's not necessarily the worst thing in the world but if he forgets who he is it may not be the best thing in the world for him either. Je'Von still does spectacular stuff but he's done less of it. You know the thing... if you 2 or 3 they'll remember it but if you 12 it's all a blur. When you're in whiteout and blizzard conditions one of the other hazards is that you can be driving along an icy road with open field on either side - that for the most part, the wind is keeping fairly flat barren. And then next thing you know - you plow right into a 3 or 4 ft drift right in the middle of the road! I think that's what happened here. What do you think?

Marc Andreessen on how to get people to join your 3-person startup Marc says founders have two tools at their disposal to win new hires: 1) Stock options, and 2) vision. He explains: “The best entrepreneurs are really good at selling people on their company precisely because they can explain how the world is going to look in a way that is so compelling.” Marc points to Steve Jobs’s “reality distortion field” as the epitome of this: “If you get within 10 feet of Steve Jobs, whatever he says in the next 20 minutes, you’re going to walk out of there believing. He can say that the sky is purple, and you’re like yep that makes total sense . . . The best entrepreneurs all tend to have that in common and tend to be really good at that. It’s essentially sales — selling to employees. It’s an incredibly valuable skill to be able to do that. That plus stock options.” The other thing Marc has observed about hiring over the years is that right employees have to self-select into your company, even though that can be incredibly frustrating at times: “If you hired all the people you interviewed, it would turn out that 2/3rds or 3/4ths of them you probably shouldn’t have hired anyway.
