Savannah Guthrie first interview since her mom Nancy vanished. Talking to the Today Show, she said "we are in agony" and that she wakes up in the middle of the night thinking about what her mom went through when she was taken. Full interview airs Thursday and Friday on Today.

I hope that I am wrong. But everything she says and does feels contrived, scripted. She appears to be acting. As I said, I hope that I am wrong. Knowing her husband’s past and the timing of the Clinton’s testimony…it’s had to believe.

This poor woman is in so much pain it's obvious how much her mother means to her. Some people may question her doing interview, but I understand it. Hopefully, someone will eventually feel bad & speak up about what they know. This has to be most botched investigation ever.

Heartbreaking. You can feel the pain in every word no family should have to live with that kind of uncertainty. Hoping the interview brings more awareness and, most importantly, answers.

"Agony" and "terror" are perfect descriptors for this horror. God, please, help the Guthrie family. Help Ms. Guthrie!

I’m really curious… how is it that in an era full of cameras with so many police officers deployed and such a high-profile incident there still isn’t even a relatively clear photo of the suspect or the vehicle? where is NANCY?

The worst part is some evil soul knows what happened and they are making a conscious choice not to tell! There's a special place waiting in hell for you!

Maybe it's the Brit in me, but I find this so unsavory, and unnecessary. Is she in debt? Why is she so desperate to hang onto her position rather than taking a leave of absence to concentrate on her family & finding Nancy's remains? To the viewing public: ask hard questions.

Why not give this interview to every single broadcaster and journalist who is covering this story? 🙄

My heart hurts for Savannah. She is a truly good human. I worked with her covering the WH years ago. You can see the deep agony in her eyes. This is heartbreaking.

That hit hard💔. We cant ask the evil monster who did this to have a heart and bring her home cause someone with a heart would not do this to any humanbeing, never mind an 84 year old Mom/Grandmother. Someone knows this guy speak up.

Seems like this should have been done publicly on NBC during the very early days. With it being done now nearly 2 months later it seems more like a ratings grab for NBC and the TODAY show. 💔 😢

Heartbreaking. The terror and violence her Mom has been through, she and her brother and sister will never be able to get over it.
