It's a HUGE day for us... we're celebrating 90 YEARS of conservation! On this very day back in 1934, our founder, George Mottershead, officially made Chester Zoo a conservation charity. As we celebrate this monumental 90-year milestone, we know George would be incredibly proud of all our achievements over the last nine decades. From protecting endangered species and supporting communities worldwide, to creating unforgettable experiences for our visitors - our journey so far has been incredible. And NONE of it would have been possible without YOU. Thank you for your unwavering support and for being part of our mission of preventing extinction. Here's to doing even more in the next 90 years 🌍 #conservation #wildlife #wildlifeconservation

Signcares Initiative Cebu 3rd Movement — Coastal Clean up🧡🐚 Last month we did a research and checked the place where seikō.signcares lives, olanggo island. We asked the locals what is the most problems they encounter in their daily living in the island, they answered; "A lot of trash accumulates by the seaside because the waves bring it ashore here."🥹🧡 So we planned, talked about it, things needed, what are the things we need to do, and everything during our meetings to execute this movement successfully🧡 We executed the movement successfully and we cleaned the shore and the locals thanked us and we are so happy to give the best service that we can offer to them, it is voluntary. We did this movement because we want to help, we want to to contribute and share the sign to others. From the Goldberg-Polin family: "We don't have the right words to describe these past couple of days. But we do want to say thank you. Thank you for keeping Hersh and the hostages in the news, on social media, at your tables and in your conversations. Thank you for not moving on and not giving up. And thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for the love and support you have poured on us. For standing by our sides and being a voice for the voiceless. Thank you for bringing the hostages front and center, as they deserve to be." "We pray this momentum should continue and grow, seizing it to finally bring all of our loved ones home and end the tremendous suffering." #BringHershHome #Bring_Hersh_Home #BringThemAllHome

Outgoing Rep. Al Green says black Americans need a third annual holiday, "Slavery Remembrance Day" He doesn't want it to be a paid holiday, because MLK Day and Juneteenth have become too commercialized. He wants it to be like "sacred days" on the Jewish calendar "It is never to be a paid holiday. It is always to be a holiday that we appreciate and commemorate because it means something to us. We will take off from work because it means something to us. Slavery Remembrance Day is a day set aside for us to remember the sacrifices that were made. And those sacrifices are not commemorated appropriately in the other two holidays. And there are people who say, 'Well, you have two. Why three? You could just merge slavery remembrance into one of the other two or both.' Here's why. Because we don't limit other people in the number of days that they commemorate and celebrate. We don't don't do that. And I am very proud of my Jewish brothers and sisters, because they commemorate more than 15 sacred days a year. And I'm gonna defend their right to do it. And we have to defend our right to have at least three days a year when we can commemorate and celebrate and appreciate 240 years of free labor! 240 years of sacrifice!"

🧡It's nice and warm over there, so let's watch the fire from there. ❤️You're not bad at this, are you? 🧡Isn't it good? It's nice and warm. Here, put this here to make it warmer. ❤️I'm not cold. Thank you. 🧡The zip line was fun, wasn't it? ❤️It was fun. 🧡Those extreme things, attractions, roller coasters, back in the day we went together, even without you wanting to, on the roller coaster. ❤️Back in the day, right? 🧡Since that time, some years have passed, we went on the zip line. ❤️10 years ago, right? 🧡Thinking about it, I'm very happy that we managed to let out that scream together, something we always wanted to do. And then we got excited, it was a very fun time. I'm going to give you this! ❤️Thank you! The suspension bridge effect really exists. 🧡I thought it would be cool ❤️Thank you! 🧡No problem, thank you for your continued support! ❤️What is your state of mind when you are making "Escape to the Island Alone" and "Love Wagon"? 🧡I don't think it would be in that energy that they make them ❤️Probably

We just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for continuing to think of us, support us, and show up day after day. As we close in on $150,000 in donations, we wanted to post a reminder of why we’re speaking out and standing up and defending our truth. None of this is easy. This week, especially, carries a lot of weight. But your messages, your kindness, and your unwavering support make it just a little easier to get through. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of our hearts.

I just want to say thank you for your prayers and support. We were incredibly fortunate, and I’m thankful the pilot and I are both doing well. The experience was a reminder to never take a single day for granted. Thank you to the 911 dispatcher, the Wausau Fire Department crew who rescued us from the water, EMS, law enforcement, and everyone at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Our first responders represent the best of Wisconsin. I’m grateful to be home with my family, and I’m ready to get back to work for you. God is good.

Today, on the eve of Pokrova – the Day of Defenders of Ukraine – it is an honor for me to be here, to present you with state awards and, of course, to thank all of you for defending our country and protecting it, for holding the front firmly, and for carrying out our active operations. In the fifth year of the full-scale war, Russia looks very different on the front from what it wanted to look – and this is solely thanks to you, thanks to the determination of our troops, the training of our warriors, and the well-planned operations of our army – of Ukraine’s Defense and Security Forces. We are doing everything to defend our state. We strike back at the aggressor. We are developing new weapons and fighting for new support from our partners. But all of this holds because the front is strong, because it has not been broken, because our corps and brigades are active and strong, and because our people are fighting for Ukraine. I want to thank you for your courage, for your skill. Thank you for Ukraine. And, of course, we always honor the fallen heroes of our state, whose courage and bravery gave us the chance to live and preserved our state.

aGWENgers Assemble! 🧡 We are now wrapping up the year filled with love and hope with our year-ender project, Hope In Action! 💖 It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and moments that will stay in our hearts. It served as a simple reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be grand to matter—it just has to be genuine. These are the kinds of moments that stay with you and remind you why choosing compassion is always worth it. 🤍 Our deepest gratitude goes to our amazing volunteers from Fan Support of Bini Gwen, BINI GWEN PROTECT TEAM, BINI GWEN BVT, and BLOOM PHILIPPINES. Every smile you shared and every helping hand you offered helped turn this day into something truly special. Thank you as well to Gwen’s family and friends for showing up, giving their time, and supporting this mission. Your presence made this day even more meaningful. To our partner brands, Akari Lighting and Puregold, and to everyone who donated, shared our posts, gave likes and shares, and supported this initiative—thank you for your generosity and trust. Your support helped turn simple intentions into real moments of joy and hope. To CHILD Haus, thank you for always opening your doors and hearts to us. Being part of this day and sharing these moments with the kids was an experience that will stay with us for a long time. And to GWEN APULI, the heart of this cause, thank you for using your voice and your heart to bring hope, joy, and light to others. Your kindness, intention, and love inspired this entire initiative and brought so many people together. This day, and all the moments it held, would not have been possible without you. National Nursing Week is a chance for us all to thank our incredible nurses for the compassionate care and support they provide every day. Since 2018, we’ve helped an historic 100,000 nurses join our province’s workforce. Thirty thousand more are currently studying at Ontario schools, many of them supported by our Learn and Stay Grant, which covers tuition for nurses who stay and work in underserved parts of the province. Happy National Nursing Week!

We are truly overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every one of you who took the time out of your incredibly busy days and navigated through the Lagos traffic just to support Violet Charm at our very first pop-up event. It means so much to us that you chose to spend your precious time with us, and your presence brought so much warmth, energy, and joy to the day. This milestone is just the beginning of what we hope will be a beautiful journey, and while this was our first pop-up, it certainly won’t be the last. We are inspired by your encouragement and are committed to learning, growing, and improving every step of the way. Next year, we promise to come back bigger, better, and more exciting, all because of your unwavering support. Thank you from the depths of our hearts for believing in us and being part of this special moment ,we couldn’t have done it without you, and we can’t wait to create even more unforgettable memories together. To enable us serve you better, the Flight Operations and Adjudication Unit of the NCAA has just moved into its brand new Consumer Complaints Command Centre. Here, all personnel are equipped with computers, headsets, and other technological tools to respond to, and process complaints from all stakeholders. This was a long time coming, but Capt. Chris Najomo, the DG NCAA, recognised the expediency of this project and has, despite the paucity of funding for the NCAA, pushed through. The hardworking FO&A unit appreciates the opportunity to work with better tools, and would like to thank the DGCA. FO&A unit are the guys who receive your complaints via email, the cpd portal, and via phone calls. They, it is, who process your complaints, engage airlines, and get the resolutions you deserve. They are sleepless, and tireless. I am proud of they work they do, along with the CPOs at the terminals. Now, we get to more work. Thank you, Capt. Chris Najomo.

Give now, right now, and ALDI will match your Giving Tuesday donation for kids with cancer: "If you give to support (ALSF), your money is going to support the best possible research." "If you're doing pediatric cancer research, you come to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. It's just an incredible organization. We couldn't do our work without this kind of support." These are just some words from childhood cancer researchers who have received ALSF research grants. These grantees are on the front lines finding cures for kids with cancer- and they could not do it without generous support from donors like you. Donate today on Giving Tuesday at the link above and join the movement to cure childhood cancer during the season of giving
