Saw 64Modder post a really cool BoB remake and was curious if it was possible to run it on real N64 hardware...

seeing smg-like visuals and hearing the throwback galaxy theme fully streamed on the n64 are honestly crazy, lol even if it seems like a bunch of objects had to be removed in the process

no, i was just too lazy to add them back. adding all the objects would be no issue at all

Damn, that's a Dreamcast level of detail on this map. Nintendo would have absolutely destroyed the competition if they had your engine back then.

The map is about 12k triangles,... BoB has around 1k and delfino plaza has around 25k - I think the dreamcast was probably right around the middle so that checks out i think

is that the fucking throwback galaxy music

yeah and someone REALLY needs to take away the guitar from the guy in my left ear

This makes me wonder how much work it would be to port SM64DS assets into SM64 using your engine. SM64DS I feel was really held back by the lack of a analog stick on the DS. Would be interesting to see how it would play on a N64.

how are the textures higher resolution and it still runs fine?

why not i guess

Why do the Bob-ombs turn blue here?

light bleeding or something idk i spent 3 minutes on this
