Just finished reading SB19’s four page feature in Rolling Stone Japan, and I honestly couldn’t be prouder. Seeing a Filipino group receive this kind of spotlight in one of Japan’s biggest music magazines is such a huge milestone. Having four full pages dedicated to SB19 is an incredible achievement. It’s also amazing to see them continue to appear in Japanese magazines and media, opening more doors and proving that Filipino artists deserve to be recognized on the global stage. You get to understand each member’s thoughts, perspectives, and aspirations while also seeing their shared vision as SB19. Reading their individual insights and how they come together as one group made me appreciate them even more. One thing that really stood out to me is that they believe they still haven’t shown everything they’re capable of. Even with everything they’ve achieved so far, they want to keep evolving and introduce a fearless new side of SB19 while staying true to who they are. That mindset is truly inspiring. I also loved reading about their friendship with BE:FIRST. There’s so much mutual respect between the two groups, and it’s heartwarming to see artists from different countries genuinely supporting each other and building meaningful connections. They also shared that they’d love to collaborate with more Japanese artists in the future, which would be so exciting to see. And of course, their upcoming milestones are incredible. They’re looking forward to performing at Summer Sonic 2026 and introducing more people to Filipino music. Even more exciting is their historic first appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago as the first Filipino artists to perform there. It’s such a proud moment not just for SB19, but for the entire Philippine music scene. Their journey keeps getting bigger, and it’s such a privilege to witness it as a fan. wonjin was doing 🫧 live and minhee & hyeongjun came to his room apparently not wearing clothes?? 😭 wonjin: i’m going to flip the camera huh?? i’m going to flip the camera?!! 🐶🐶: *leaves (?) wonjin: two puppies came by at the same time. they came and you know usually puppies when they’re like… going outside— well at home their clothes is… well yeah puppies are like that.. since they’re puppies they’re just like puppies in general.. when we’re raising them, so like unless when we take them out.. well actually when they go outside too.. they kind of like that (not wearing clothes).. and there are people who want to dress them up too so they got dressed up so yeah..

🐶 i actually asked the company staff about this today.. i asked them, “are artists not allowed to use the word streaming? is it something we’re not supposed to say?” and they told me, “it’s not that you can’t say it, it’s just that artists don’t usually use that kind of wording.” so i was like, “it’s not that i’m trying to tell them what to do, i just want to thank them for streaming.. then how am i supposed to say it?” and they told me that i can say it if i want, so that’s why i’m saying it now. 🐶 🙏 thank you, everyone. thank you so much for doing it. thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙇🏻

🧸 when we first debuted, the company really wanted to push a "prince" image for us. because of that, they wouldn't let me do things like aegyo when we went on variety shows. 🧸 even though i just wanted to give hearts or do a little aegyo for our fans, they intentionally made us avoid those things. 🧸 i couldn't even make heart gestures. the company banned it, so one time i went on a show and i did some aegyo right before the show ended without them knowing 🧸 but i got caught doing that. the company found out and i actually got in trouble for it 🧸 if i tried too hard to be funny or cute, they would just edit all of it out of the broadcast. i really hated to see us getting a reputation as "boring" group right from the start 🧸 because of that, there was this live streaming platform we used at the time. we all just said “hey, this is live, so the company can't stop us" 🧸 and we decided to just do whatever we wanted, and from that point on, it wasn't really that the company changed their minds, it was more like they just gave up on us.

Sorry for repeating myself so many times 🙏 I first discovered SB19 at AAA 2023. When I saw that performance, I was blown away! “What is this group?! They’re seriously amazing!” My heart was really shaking. It was the first time I’d ever been so moved and had my heart stirred by an artist’s performance like that. You know, the only reason they created that IG account was… For us. It was never about fame or money. It was their way of reaching out when everything around them was falling apart. A place where they tried to share small moments of happiness, excitement, love, and peace with us, even when they barely had any left for themselves. They made it because they were worried. Because they knew we were worried. Because they didn’t want the people who cared about them to sit there wondering if they were okay. no matter how bad belift promotion is, i hope many people will come to enhypen with a feeling like "oh.. they really deserve to be seen and loved by many people as artists and humans." it hurts watching them stay in this “almost” zone, always close but never fully pushed to where their potential could actually take them. and as fans, it’s exhausting too. being disappointed in the agency, feeling powerless about things we can’t control, yet still must to showing up for the things we can push. some days it really feels like we’re holding this together with pure love and loyalty. but at the end of the day, k-pop is always a two-way relationship. idols give their all to fans, and fans give feedback and support so the artists don’t fade out and can actually go long-term. we’re allowed to be mad at the company. we’re allowed to feel tired. but the least we can do for the boys themselves is not give up on the parts where fans can still push. i just hope enhypen know that even when things don’t go their way, there are many real engenes who truly see them. who believe they’re meant for more than just being “almost big” and who are still here out of genuine faith in who enhypen can become. you've worked hard ENHYPEN 🫳🏻🤍

Gallego: Well, look, if this was actually about the 250th anniversary and the president not trying to make it political and part of an extension of MAGA, I think you’d have a lot of artists who would actually participate. Because I think our artists love our country and want to contribute to a great celebration. The fact is, the president messed up and made this political. And by making it about him instead of making it about the country, a lot of them just felt uncomfortable about that.

I don’t know about anyone else… but after the past 2 months, seeing how parts of this fandom turned their back on enhypen, I’ve somehow learned to love the boys even more. It made me want to support them even harder. I honestly didn’t think it was possible for me to love and appreciate them more than I already did, but here we are. Seeing how resilient and strong they are has been genuinely inspiring to me. The way they continue moving forward with their heads held high despite the hate, the cyberbullying, and even negativity coming from their own fans… it honestly made me admire them on a much deeper level. I’ve become so much more appreciative of them as people, not just artists. And one thing I know for sure is that I will forever be there for these six brave boys. I don’t care what anyone says. They are more than enough. They are the whole world to me.
