RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR ALLEGEDLY PERSECUTES CHRISTIAN PG STUDENT We received an SOS in our DM from a student from RSU. According to accounts provided by the student of Rivers State University, an incident allegedly occurred on campus yesterday involving a postgraduate student and a senior lecturer. He reports that a PG student, who is a former President of the Postgraduate Christian Fellowship, entered a Year 1 Computer Engineering class during a free period to give a brief Christian/motivational talk. The student alleges that a lecturer identified as Prof. Benjamin Senibo Pepple from the Department of Physics and a former DVC entered the room during the talk and aggressively confronted the PG student. Witnesses claim that the lecturer allegedly slapped the student several times, pulled his shirt, and verbally harassed him before contacting the CSO. The PG student was allegedly detained by campus security from morning until night and is now reported to be in poor health. Students further allege that similar incidents involving Christian student leaders have happened before and are calling on the RSU leadership, state authorities, and the public to intervene. They are requesting an independent investigation to confirm what occurred and to ensure the safety and rights of all students. The student has been released but may soon be redetained, according to what the CSO allegedly said upon his release. Below are videos to the effect:

The City of Brampton has led the conversation in Canada for international students visas to be linked to housing, and we are pleased that Algoma University is expanding their footprint in Brampton with the building of a new student residence with over 500 beds. This is exactly what we hoped for. Located at Park St and Nelson Street West, it will be a short walk to the downtown campus, providing safe, affordable housing for students. Jewish students at UCL are facing comments such as “October 7th was justified and reasonable” and “Hamas is not a terrorist organisation”. When this was reported, a student was told that the remarks were simply “an expression of a view on a highly publicised matter” and took no action. This is the reality on campus, and it’s why Jewish students and staff deserve far better. If you are a student or staff member in need of assistance, contact us at campus@antisemitism.org.

Beyond horrifying: ‘Tulane for #Palestine’, a group not registered with the university but made up of Tulane students, held a pro-#Hamas rally off campus. Jewish and Israeli students, as well as their allies, peacefully held #Israeli flags across the road, and were viciously attacked and beat up by a group of pro-Hamas demonstrators. A pro-Hamas student was going to burn the Israeli flag when a Jewish student decided to take the flag away. As a crowd of Hamas supporting students rushed towards the Jewish student, security in the area went to break it up, but not before a pro-Hamas protester hit a student in the head with a pole, resulting in the hospitalization of the Jewish student. Since the event wasn’t on campus, however, Tulane did not intervene. This is what college students are experiencing on and off campus around the country. Now, more than ever, administrations must stand by their Jewish students.

There is a new addition to the US Space & Rocket Center Space Camp under construction and it is the Inspiration 4 Training Center! Initial funding in 2022 of $10 Million by Jared Isaacman Jared Isaacman to initiate construction & at the time, it was the largest single donation in the history of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center! Expansion Funding of ~$15 Million in July 2025 was subsequently given by Jared and is designated for: Mission Operations: Supporting advanced simulations for Space Camp, Robotics, and Cyber Camp A new Dormitory: Providing seed money for a fourth dormitory to house students attending the programs. Really great to see funding of facilities and programs like this to inspire a new generation of space explorers! @Ellieinspace

Throughout tonight’s game, the St. Bonaventure men’s basketball program will spotlight The Warming House, the nation’s oldest student-run soup kitchen. Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to the Reilly Center to support The Warming House. In addition, a portion of all new contributions made to The Basketball Excellence Fund throughout the month of December will go to The Warming House. As St. Francis said, “It’s in giving that we receive, and I add, it is in pouring out that we are filled up.” #BeABonnieBeAPro

News coming in from South 24 Parganas district of #WestBengal. In ‘Madarhat High School’ of #Baruipur, Muslim students tortured a Hindu student for saying ‘Jai Shree Ram’. Muslim students took the Hindu student inside the toilet and slapped him. The Muslim students also recorded a video and uploaded that video on Facebook. A complaint is filed.
