UPDATE: At least 3 Afghan Taliban piquets on the border have been struck by aerial strikes by Pakistan, local sources say they were drone strikes, there has been no official acknowledgement. At least 4 Pakistani security officials were reported dead in the clashes and 4 injured. Around 10 civilians have been brought into the hospital in Chaman, TKD’s correspondent reported. The Library Fire in the area of the Reagan Library in Simi Valley has been mapped at 8.6 acres. The road to leading to the Reagan Library has now been re-opened. The fire was initially reported at 1:38pm, and approximately 70 firefighters were dispatched to the incident. Multiple units have been now been released from the fire, but some firefighters will be remaining on scene for the next few hours mopping up hot spots and reinforcing control lines. VCFD’s UAS (drone) operators are on scene and surveying the fire footprint from the air to ensure all hotspots are identified and fully extinguished by ground crews. There were no injuries reported, no structures damaged or threatened and no evacuation orders issued. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
