Here Is The Famous World War 2 “We Shall Fight On The Beaches” Speech by WINSTON CHURCHILL “We shall fight on the beaches" was a speech delivered by the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom on 4 June 1940. It was the second of three iconic speeches Churchill gave during this period shortly following his appointment as UK Prime Minister (replacing Neville Chamberlain): chronologically, it falls between his ‘Blood, toil, tears and sweat’ speech (13 May 1940) and his ‘This was their finest hour’ speech (18 June 1940). The context was what became known as the Battle of France. In early June 1940, British forces had completed the evacuation of Dunkirk, the rescue of more than 338,000 British and French soldiers from the French port of Dunkirk between 26 May and 4 June.

The IRONY of DUNKIRK I’m the privileged and proud owner of an original Dunkirk Little Ship; a boat I restored from the keel up. Last May I crossed the English Channel in WAYFARER with 63 other Dunkirk Little Ships, to celebrate and commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Dunkirk evacuation, properly known as Operation DYNAMO. When 840 ‘little ships’ helped the Royal Navy rescue an incredible 337,000 British and allied troops from the beaches of Dunkirk as the German Blitzkrieg advanced. Half way across, as we headed over to celebrate and commemorate the sacrifices our forefathers made to secure of freedoms and liberty….. This……

Illegal migrants running across Dunkirk beach to attempt a crossing to England. This was filmed before I entered the water. I’m one man, and this was only my fourth trip. What I witnessed suggests these crossings are far from impossible to stop. Watch the footage and judge for yourself how effective the French response appears to be. Yesterday, US Air Force C-17A Globemaster III #AE0816, as RCH558, arrived at JB Andrews from Ramstein AB, Germany, on a medical evacuation mission that began Wednesday in Djibouti, Africa. Upon arrival at Andrews, the aircraft was met by 2 patient evacuation vehicles (PEVs) and one pickup truck from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Each PEV can hold 12-16 patients.

🇺🇦🙏 Extremely complex evacuation of Soldiers. Simply virtuoso work of operators of ground robots of the 3rd battalion "Svoboda". It was necessary to evacuate two soldiers 4 km from the front line in the enemy's rear. The mission lasted 10 hours. On the way there, the operators had to conduct ground drone through minefields, bypass damaged armored vehicles and explosive-laden drones. And during the evacuation, the ground drone was seen by enemy aerial reconnaissance and attacked it from the air.
