Schiff: Between now and November, the President will make every effort to discourage Americans from voting. He will make it harder to register and turn out. He may send ICE agents to polling places to intimidate our citizens. He will cast doubt on the results when his party loses....

Kamala Harris: We cannot despair. We cannot despair. The nature of a democracy is such that I think there's a duality. On the one hand, there's an incredible strength when our democracy is intact. An incredible strength in what it does to protect the freedoms and rights of its people. Oh, there's great strength in that. And it is very fragile. It is only as strong as our willingness to fight for it. And so that's the moment we're in. And I say do not despair because in a democracy, as long as we can keep it, in our democracy the people, every individual has the power to make a decision about what this will be. And so let's not feel powerless. Because then we have been defeated. And that's not our character as the American people. We are not one to be defeated. We rise to a moment and we stand on broad shoulders of people who have fought this fight before for our country. And in many ways let us look at the challenge then that we are being presented and not be overwhelmed by it. The baton is now in our hands, to fight for, not against, but for this country we love.

B A T S H I T Crazy!!!! ‘Our children must prepare for war, because it will be here for a long time’ – Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Irina Vereshchuk. ‘Russia will remain our enemy for decades, if not centuries. We must reconfigure our consciousness and public consciousness in order to fight back at any moment. If Russia knows that our society is ready to resist, that we all understand our role and place, that we are ready to fight back and every house will be shot at, and the ground will burn beneath them, they will not attack. This is our strategy and we are laying it down from school. Yes, our children must be ready, they must know what war is.’ - SK

For Charlie, we will speak the truth every single day. For Charlie, we will rebuild this United States to greatness. For Charlie, we will never shrink, we will never cower, and we will never falter — even when staring down the barrel of a gun. For Charlie, we will remember that it is better to stand on our feet defending the United States of America and defending the truth than it is to die on our knees. For Charlie, we must remember that he is a hero to the United States of America and he is a martyr for the Christian faith. Vice President JD Vance

Van Hollen: Now, we know the state of our Union. We know it is under attack from a lawless president who is shredding our Constitution and attacking our democracy. A president whose private ICE army kills Americans and then calls the victims “domestic terrorists.” That is what Donald Trump and his administration said. We are here because we know our country is being robbed by the most corrupt president in American history — one who is exploiting the Oval Office to enrich himself, his family, and his billionaire buddies. A president who continues to hide portions of the Epstein files from both survivors and the American people. When are they going to release the files? A president who wants to erase our history. Are we going to let him erase America’s history? A president who promised that on day one he would bring down costs — but ever since he was sworn in, prices have gone up on the American people, even as he refuses to extend tax cuts and tax credits that help families afford their health care. We have a president who seeks not to build a more perfect union, but to tear it down. A president who said he would stop wars — but instead is responsible for war crimes and, as we speak, is threatening more wars. We are gathered here because we know we cannot pretend that any of this is normal. We will not — and must not — pretend this is business as usual. We must get in the way of Donald Trump’s march toward fascism. We cannot let our country go down that road. What Donald Trump wants to do is what all bullies do — what all dictators do. He wants to intimidate us. He wants us to sit obediently and quietly while he lies and lies and lies to the American people.

True when I said it, true today. “Canada is, and always has been, our country. And we want Canada to be a True North that is as strong and as free as it can be in every way that matters: the best country in the world. That’s why we’re here, that’s why we strive, that’s why we serve. Canada must reflect the true character of the Canadian people: honourable in our dealings, faithful to our commitments, loyal to our friends. By turns, a courageous warrior and a compassionate neighbour. It is our purpose that Canada must be great, it must be great for all Canadians, it must be a country of hope and an example to the world. And only when it is these things, when Canada is all that it can be, only then can we say that our work is done.”

Protest vote is the only way to save our country. We have a big bully in the presidential seat right now and the only way to get him out is to bully him right back. When will we open our eyes guys. There is almost no eventuality when Museveni will wake up one day and decide to hand over power. He is drunk on it and he will never give it up without a fight. Ugandans need to vote and protect their vote. If we Ugandans can not stand up and protect our own vote, then no one will fight for it for us. Period.

We often look back on the seminal moments in our history and wonder "What would I have done?" This is our moment. This is our time. We must stand up. We must speak out. And we must do everything we can to stop a President who has every intention of destroying our democracy.

Standing Up for Democracy Today, I joined fellow Nigerians, leaders, and members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by National Chairman Sen. David Mark to participate in a peaceful "Save Democracy" protest. This event was not just an effort to protect our democracy; it was also a moment of reflection on how far we have fallen as a nation. We must resist the suffocation of our democracy by those who once claimed to have sacrificed to defend it, but are now doing everything possible to undermine it and silence opposition. History will not be kind to those who traded the struggle for democracy for the comfort of power. We will not remain silent, we will not be intimidated, and we will not surrender the future of this nation. The will of the people must prevail—stronger, louder, and impossible to suppress. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

NEW: Pope Leo XIV’s close ally Cardinal Robert McElroy received a standing ovation at the end of his homily, where he called on Catholics to take up civic action to help end the “immoral” war against Iran. “When we leave this church tonight, we must move beyond prayer. As citizens and believers in this democracy that we cherish so deeply, we must advocate for peace with our representatives and leaders. “It is not enough to say we have prayed. We must also act. For it is very possible that the negotiations will fail because of recalcitrance on both sides, and the president will move to re-enter this immoral war. “At that critical juncture, as disciples of Jesus Christ called to be peacemakers in the world, we must answer vocally and in unison: “No. Not in our name. Not at this moment. Not with our country.”

🚨 Prof. Jeffrey Sachs: Starmer Probably the Greatest Warmonger on the Planet, Actually. 'After a peace agreement on Ukraine, we will have to be prepared to fight Russia' – Starmer continues to turn the Munich Security Conference into a conference on WAR with Russia. 'Despite the ongoing war, Russia is rearming, rebuilding its armed forces and industrial base. NATO warns that Russia may be ready to use military force against the alliance by the end of this decade. If a peace agreement on Ukraine is reached, which we are all desperately trying to achieve, Russia's rearmament will only accelerate. The broader threat to Europe will not end. It will intensify. Therefore, we must respond to this threat fully. Today, we do not stand at a crossroads. The road ahead is straight and clear. We must build up our 'hard power,' because it is the currency of our time. And yes, if necessary, we must be prepared to fight, to do whatever is necessary to defend our people, our values, and our way of life. And as Europe, we must stand on our own two feet.'

“In Rwanda, our work, our politics, our mindset, is to put things right. We do not deny anyone peace. That is why the history of Muslims and the way they were persecuted in the past has changed, and we will continue changing it by any means. The same applies to all the others who were persecuted, whether based on ethnicity or region. We will not beg anyone for permission to fight that. We must fight it no matter the cost. That is a principle. It is a duty we owe to our country and to our fellow Rwandans.”President Kagame | Rwandan Muslim Community #MeetThePresident

Smith: Donald Trump is trying to do an autocratic takeover of our country and fundamentally end our Republic as we know it. We need to make that point—and make it aggressively. That needs to be part of our message, and I don’t think we should stop just because some people don’t agree with us. We should try to persuade them of that fact. That can’t be all, though. We also have to show people—okay, as sad as it is, if you don’t care about the end of our democracy, here’s what Donald Trump is doing to your financial future. Here’s how unemployment claims are up, inflation is up, the stock market is down. He is doing great damage to our economic strength as a country and to people’s individual livelihoods.

America, the election is almost here. Here’s what to expect when polls close: The margins are going to be close, but our campaign is on track to win this election. Americans all across the country are casting their votes in record numbers, ready to turn the page. It will take time to count every vote, and there may be swings in the count along the way. Donald Trump falsely claimed victory in 2020, and we expect that he will do it again. We know that he is a liar—but the ballots will tell the truth. Stay patient, and know that every vote will be counted fairly. America’s election system is strong—and it will not be interfered with by partisan actors. Our legal operation is ready to fight to protect every vote and make sure every last one is counted. Your vote is your voice, so get out and make yours heard: Together, we are going to win this election, and chart a new way forward.
