Belgian teenagers raised money to buy a school bus for Ukrainian kids from Hostomel (it is an area that suffered badly when the Russians invaded Kyiv region). The bus came packed with school supplies! This is the second bus they bought and they are already aiming for a third one! This next generation of humans is so amazing! Thank you, BEforUkraine!

Bus driver called the school to demand a resource officer because he alleged a student got on the wrong bus. The student, and other students, confirmed this was his bus. He needed to get home immediately after school to babysit his 6 yr old brother. The resource officer demanded he exit the bus so the other kids could get home. Then the officer tased the student and threatened to do it again The officer has been removed from duty at the school. Lawsuit is not yet filed.

It is illegal, and very dangerous, to pass a school bus when its red lights are flashing. Over the next few weeks, officers will be doing targeted school bus safety enforcement. The public is invited to share the locations of bus stops where they have observed drivers passing school busses illegally. To share a location visit HRP’s Facebook page and comment on this post: Comments will be monitored and officers will be assigned to visit as many locations as possible. Failing to stop for a school bus can result in a first offence fine of $410 and six points on your license. And most importantly, it could severely impact a person’s life. HRP is responsible for policing the urban core of Halifax Regional Municipality as well as the Sambro Loop and the Purcells Cove – Herring Cove Loop.

This Mom has a son going into his junior year in high school. He and his friend were removed from the high school season roster because they both had SUMNER JOBS… Mom can’t get any answers from the school for the athletic department so she’s escalated it to the school board. The school by the way is mariner high school in Cape Coral, Florida. Has anyone else experienced this insanity with their children?

ALERT: Mother smashed the window of a school bus and crawled through the window after the driver wouldn't let the kids out in California. Students on a Calaveras Unified school bus were stuck for about an hour after rowdy kids forced the bus driver to stop and call law enforcement. A 12-year-old student on the bus said, "Everybody was screaming and stuff because they were excited to get off the bus.” During the screaming, another student crawled out of the window, causing the driver to stop the bus and say, “Sit down, roll up the windows,” as they waited for law enforcement. Nichole Wellington said her son called her, scared, and that after arriving, he was still not allowed off the bus; she advised him to escape through the window as well. Rebecca Glover, another parent, thought the opposite and told her kids to remain seated, since the bus driver was trying to keep them safe. The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office said, "During the incident, the parent struck the bus door, breaking the glass. The parent was ultimately taken into custody at the School District's request for vandalism."

I WOULD BE FURIOUS! This father confronts the school that keeps losing his daughter and not dropping her off after school. "From the time I drop her at the bus to when she gets dropped of by the bus, it is your responsibility to make sure my child gets to and from school safely!" First off, get your child out of public school, period. Second, I don't blame him for reacting like this ONE BIT! I would have gone off on those people as well!
