@AllisonPearson If a teacher spoke to me at school like that, I’d have walked out. Simple. I removed myself from RE at school, because I wanted to focus on subjects I struggled at, not learn about religion, something that I didn’t personally believe in.

This sounds to me like a very damaged egocentric individual who is now bullying kids in a professional capacity..

Wow....and there it is....he has waited 40 years for the power to corrupt and you can hear it in his voice/words...'you do not have a choice'.....which means HIS angle on the subject will be indoctrinated to his class...

What's wrong with this? Somebody spell it out to me. Kids need to learn there are other people that aren't like them in the world and learn to respect them in society and not to bully them.

So this dude was hurt in school because other kids said he was gay, but he actually is gay. So whats hurtful about calling a gay person gay??

This teacher should be sacked.

Whole range of opinions are being taught in schools which might not reflect the general consensus. Son came home from school yesterday saying we were terrible for using gas and should instead use solar and wind. Teacher had told him gas was destroying the earth.

So telling someone not to bully another person and say hateful things now indoctrination???

Bullied as a child decides to bully children.
