Yes, that is a splendid ideà. Drop the whole scam, now! They even failed to show us the science that should tell us that CO2 is somehow "warming up the planet, it doesn`t, according to many not-funded researchers and scientists. The Neo 0 is a tax. tax-increasing scam.

@GetSmart1596603 Natural gas is so excessive it leaks out of the ground in Siberia and there is a fire they can’t put out. I say suck it out and use it to power electric plants. Why not???

Right now Net Zero is getting the blame for everything. The madly ironic truth is that the series of blackouts of the last few years have had nothing to do with net zero and everything to do with extreme weather, driven by the climate crisis - and net zero is how we stop that getting worse. Stopping net zero is not the answer to stopping extreme weather induced blackouts….Jeez…

This is the dawn of a new era. The era of Europe's full energy independence from Russia. Many believed this would be impossible. Well, the figures speak for themselves, let me give you some. Today, Russian gas imports - LNG and pipeline - are down from 45% to 13%, coal imports, from 51% to now zero, and on crude oil, from 26% to 2%. As we slashed Russian imports of fossil fuels massively, we also cut the revenues that Russia uses to wage its war of aggression against Ukraine. We were paying Russia EUR 12 billion per month at the beginning of the war for fossil fuels - now we are down to EUR 1,5 billion per month, still too much, and we aim to bring it down to zero.

There is no "energy transition" underway. Back in 1995, fossil fuels supplied 76.6% of global energy. Last year, that number was 76.4% - a 0.2% drop in 30 years, despite the $10+ trillion dollars poured into renewables and "energy transition" programs. Yet Al Gore, who has personally pocketed hundreds of millions of dollars selling the climate crisis, still insists there's "huge momentum" to move away from fossil fuels. The reality is simple though. The world still runs on reliable coal, oil and gas, and it will for decades to come.
