Dear Tom, I hope this message finds you well. Over the last several years I have been engaged in an undertaking that, in some respects, parallels the path you described in My Big TOE. Like you, I began with a desire to understand consciousness, reality, meaning, and the relationship between subjective experience and the larger structure within which that experience unfolds. The result has become a six-volume work called The Infinite Frame Series, published through Libraphor. What drew me toward contacting you is not agreement for its own sake, but recognition. As I encountered your work, particularly your effort to unify physics, metaphysics, consciousness, free will, experience, and evolution into a coherent architecture, I realized that many of the patterns I had independently mapped appeared remarkably similar in geometry, though often different in language and emphasis. Where our paths may differ is that my own work attempts to map not only the interior architecture of consciousness and experience, but also what I describe as the Infinite Exterior: the relationship between the individuated observer and the larger field from which both consciousness and reality emerge. In my framework, consciousness is not merely fundamental. It is the active plenum substrate of the cosmos itself, expressing through differentiation, experience, fragmentation, recognition, coherence, participation, and return. The central principle that emerged from my work is something I call Recognition: The moment when apparently separate truths reveal themselves as aspects of a larger pattern. Rather than building another doctrine or competing metaphysical system, I have attempted to identify the recurring geometry appearing across: Vedanta Christian Mysticism Consciousness Research Macrobiotics Systems Theory Physics Psychology Personal Experience Including, of course, the work of Robert Monroe, Itzhak Bentov, David Bohm, Federico Faggin, Carl Jung, Michio Kushi, George Ohsawa, and yourself. I have increasingly come to see all of these voices as witnesses describing different parts of the same elephant.
