The Osprey comes gliding in and crashes into the water somewhat violently, and then sinks its talons into its prey, rips it from the water, and carries it off on its final journey. The Great Egret on the other hand is all about patiently waiting for the perfect moment to pluck a fish from the water. Even with the Osprey crashing into the water right next to it, the egret doesn’t even budge or blink. What a contrasting comparison!
