Boats have a LOT of plastic parts, navigation, gps, radio and other electronics. Lifeboats, even regular boat hulls, canoes and kayaks are more or less plastic. Forget all about rusting steel, bacteria (plastic termites) will sink your boat? Plastic termites = horror movie?
