Scott Galloway, if socialism doesn’t work, what does? Because what we have right now is plantation capitalism rooted in oligarchy and white supremacy. THIS IS AMERICA. Not Korea or Germany or the USSR. We’re supposed to benefit from the diversity of our cultures and ideas, where political and economic... show more

“Why Heroes Day? It is because every nation or people of this World find themselves in one situation or another, or circumstances, that also informs and influences their actions and struggles. So this was a moment to remind us of our own struggle as a nation; what we have gone through, what we are going through, and what is expected of us in the end to triumph. All that is what reminds us of where we should start from,” President Kagame.

This is what I have been saying for years. We in America MUST create a system which allows us the economic advantages that China enjoys. Instead of fearing or hating China, we need to be LEARNING FROM CHINA. #China #Rednote

Mr. Yuval Levin, Senior Fellow American Enterprise Institute, reflects on the role of Congress: "If we're going to have a politics in which deliberation plays a central role, we have to have a politics in which Congress plays a central role. That part can only be played by a plural institution that is both representative and deliberative, and that is what Congress is designed to be." … "We are living in a political moment where the deepest differences do not get worked out, and we've persuaded ourselves that this is because we're polarized, or it's because we're divided, or it's social media. We're not more polarized than the America of the late eighteenth century. We're not more divided than the America of the mid-nineteenth century. These technologies have not changed human nature or the character of politics. The core institution of our system now does not want the role it is assigned, and that is what has to change."

Francesca Hong when asked if voters should fear socialism and communism: “No. This is a state where we will still have a $2.33 tipped minimum wage and $7.25 minimum wage. It's gonna be hard to turn that into socialism soon, but what we can do is fight for policies that put working-class people first.” This is a better answer than what we normally get from democratic socialists running for office. We live under a dystopian capitalist system where 70% of Americans struggle to afford housing, healthcare, and groceries, yet the media and both parties constantly fearmonger about socialism. It’s insanity! Socialists need to stop backing down when asked about socialism and communism. It’s not only weak but also concedes power to the capitalist system people are struggling under and fighting against. Socialists should pivot to policies that improve the material conditions of the working class and call out the absurd notion that we should “fear socialism” when we live under a capitalist system that’s failing the majority as it consolidates wealth into fewer and fewer hands. What people should fear is capitalism because it’s the reason our country is in decay.

#BREAKING: Meet The Press: “…does the Democratic Party actually need to embrace the moniker of socialism, lean into it?” Sen Murphy: “NO, but I think we have to understand that people do not believe that THIS VERSION of capitalism has worked, and frankly, it hasn’t worked. I mean you have 40% of Americans today that are working full time and don’t have enough money saved up in the bank for an emergency car repair. Meanwhile, we just saw the first TRILLIONAIRE made in this economy. This version of capitalism is NOT working. Now, I make the argument in the book that we should embrace what I call a ‘common good capitalism’, a capitalism where we have more shared prosperity, where we want more millionaires than trillionaires, where we have a higher minimum wage, where unions are more powerful. Democrats are not going to win by defending this version of capitalism, but I think we will be able to offer ideas on how to dramatically reform it rather than throwing out the entire system.” 👊

The War Against BRICS Larry Johnson: The reason we want regime change in Iran is to stop BRICS, to stop the development of this alternative financial future that does not include the US—or at least doesn’t give the US the control where it can tell everybody what to do. And then if you don’t do what we tell you, we seize your money, we threaten, we make it impossible for you to do international trade. Those days are over and Iran now is seeing a way to break free of that. This is to destroy Iran and ultimately destroy Russia and China. That’s the US goal.

Arteta asked if the current team are better than the invincibles: “No, because Invincibles won a lot and they won consistently and they created a history and legacy and we have to do that. “Obviously there is a lot of stats, but in the last two or three years, as well, we had stats and more points and more goals and the history of that, but at the end we have to translate that into major trophies and what we want to do, and probably now what we are doing. “It would have been enough, but now it's not enough, and we have to make it the margins even bigger, and that's what we have to aim for.”

Christianity is a National Security Threat: "We have a Bible mandate to be a comfort to the Jewish people because they have been through the hell of the Holocaust" "God has never called the Gentile people in the Old Testament his people. These are the Jewish people" "We are doing what we are doing in order to ensure that America continues to survive and thrive because the Bible says, "I will bless those who bless you, Israel. I will curse those who curse you, Israel." "History has shown us that both biblical and otherwise. And whether we like it or not, the modern state of Israel is proof positive that the Bible is true and that God is real." "And that is why we do what we do. If the nation of is Israel ceased to exist, then the Bible is a lie. And so we are not lobbying for a foreign nation. We are exercising what we believe is our biblical mandate to do what we can to bless the nation of Israel and its people"

"I'm not going to tell you who is playing in the game. I'm not going to tell you who is starting, what package we have in, what play we're running. I'm not going to tell you any of that. So we can make it great and have a great press conference, or we can make it uncomfortable. I'm not going to tell you because what you know, the Cowboys know, and every other team knows. That's not in the competitive interest of our football team. I think you can respect that." - John Harbaugh

Satoshi Roundtable is later this week. Tech Talk Tuesdays in Dubai asked me about the upcoming event: “My hope is that have for this week is that we embrace what this industry is all about. It’s not about Blackrock, or CBDCs or the filthy broken fiat system - it’s about an alternative to that. A lot of people can point to many broken things in our world. And the root of what is broken is because of the broken money system. The money system is broken. There is death and destruction because of a broken money system and what this technology represents is something different than that. It’s an alternate to that. And that’s what makes it unique and that’s what makes it valuable.”

Our opposition does not know how to listen because they already have all the answers. They know exactly what is supposed to be done. And this is completely flawed because it is the people who know what has to be done. If there is one thing that we have failed at with all the social media and modern communication methods, is that we as politicians have failed to deeply listen to what our people are trying to tell us. And this is the space where we can really operate because our opponents have completely vacated this space; they're not there, they don't exist there. : LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi at the Bharat Summit, Hyderabad

“What do we do to make life better for everybody? We certainly have enough… We could do this, but it’s going to take some reimagining of what America is, what our economic system is. What’s clear is our economic system is not working and it’s not sustainable.” Mark Ruffalo is worth at least $35M, on the low end. I have an idea.. let's all be one with his bank account! Oh wait, rules for thee not for me.

Germany’s Chancellor Merz: Why all of this? What is, so to speak, the overarching idea? What is the story behind it? What is the purpose of these reforms? Well, ladies and gentlemen, perhaps that is the answer we have failed to provide more than any other. I do not exclude myself from that criticism. We will have to provide an answer — especially to the younger generation in Germany. We have to give the younger generation a convincing answer as to what our country stands for and where our society is supposed to be heading.

AMERICA IS NOT A PROPOSITIONAL NATION🔽 Simmons: "I think what I would like is for Donald Trump to say ... We‘re going to stop making arguments like Rubio made when he went to Munich and he said, 'we have bonds of culture and heritage and religion,' which excludes people who don‘t have European culture, heritage or necessarily religion." Lyman: "You're mad at Marco Rubio for saying that culture, heritage, whatever, ties us together. If not those things, what does tie people together?" Simmons: "Ideology, a belief in freedom, a belief that we have a country that‘s not rooted in soil or blood. It‘s a country that‘s rooted in the fact that we all have the same values, and we want to have a place where we can all prosper and aspire together. That‘s what ties us together." Lyman: "I reject the proposition that America is just a propositional nation." Simmons: "What is it then? If it‘s not a nation rooted in values and ideas and commitment?" Lyman: "Have you ever read Federalist Paper No. 2 by John Jay? Jay says that we are blessed by providence to be a people connected by our culture, our language, our religion."
