If you are in this country illegally, you have broken federal law. And it is the responsibility of the federal government to enforce that law, to remove you and return you to your country of origin. When leaders in blue states refuse to comply with federal authorities, they are not “resisting,” they are breaking the law themselves. You don’t get to attack law enforcement just because you don’t like the outcome of an election. If you disagree with policy, you win the next election. That’s how a constitutional republic works.

We stand with law enforcement. They are doing a life-and-death job enforcing the law, not writing it. They don’t set policy; they carry it out on behalf of the American people. Democrats who encourage mobs, obstruction, or confrontation with federal agents are playing a dangerous game. Standing in the middle of a lawful operation isn’t “activism” it’s reckless, and it puts lives at risk. If you don’t like immigration policy or the outcome of an election, there is a constitutional way to change it: win the next election. You don’t get your way by intimidating officers. You don’t get your way by obstructing justice. And you don’t get your way by turning law enforcement into political targets.

Obstructing an arrest & aiding the attempted escape of an illegal alien is against the law. If you break the law, you get charged. If you break the law, you end up in handcuffs. Either we hold judges to this standard, or we abandon that standard entirely. Too many judges are acting like this one in Wisconsin. They would rather thwart Trump than enforce the rule of law.
