He was at Benfica, and he probably should have stayed there a little bit longer, but he pushed for the move halfway through the season. Now he’s at Chelsea, and towards the end of the season, he’s messing about, saying he wants to go to Real Madrid. I know a lot of footballers are like that, and I think Enzo Fernández is a good footballer, but let him go to Real Madrid. With these types of players, as fans, you want players who want to wear your shirt. And he doesn’t want to wear a Chelsea shirt anymore, does he? You can create an issue out of it, or you can say, “You know what? Off you go for £100 million.” #NG67

We revealed on The Athletic that Chelsea have made an offer of £8 million. That bid has been rejected. Sunderland say they have no intention of selling him. They see him as a key player, their captain, and someone who will lead them into Europe next season. It does seem that Xhaka would like to make the move and reunite with Xabi Alonso. Now it's about maintaining standards and having consistency. The club, Maresca and the squad deserve all the backing for what they pulled off and HOW they pulled it off. They proved they can do it against the best, now it's about striving for more. Aiming for the Premier League title. For the Champions League again. Time for the whole fanbase to pull together. Whether right or wrong, everyone drop the ego and let's learn. Chelsea pulled through. Now we back them. Show the ambition and push them more 💪💙
